These were the fundamental principles envisioned by the late Haradhan Karmakar and the late Sabita Karmakar throughout their lives—aspiring to establish an institution in a rural area that offers education enriched with a timeless learning experience.

Inspired by the lifelong values and teachings of his late father and mentor, Mr. Soumitra Karmakar embarked on a journey to transform this vision into reality. Over the years, he has successfully developed HS Memorial School into an English-medium, co-educational day school, blending traditional education with modern digital teaching methods. Our institution is affiliated with the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi, and has also been granted recognition as an independent Home Centre for the ICSE examination.
